The System/Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of our systems, which includes servers, networks, security, backups, and cloud services.

Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, system software, applications, and all configurations. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Install and integrate new server hardware and applications, keeping systems updated with the latest software patches. Administer and maintain virtualized environments (e.g., Hyper-V, Citrix) and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS). Monitor network performance and security to identify and resolve issues proactively, test for weaknesses, and ensure network availability. Troubleshoot network and system problems reported by end-users, resolving hardware and software issues. Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations. Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords, particularly within Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra. Implement and maintain security measures, including anti-virus, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Analyze and recommend changes to improve system and network configurations, determining hardware and software requirements. Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of the network and system infrastructure. Required Qualifications:

Technical skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems. Experience with Linux administration is a plus. Familiarity with Sonicwall or similar networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP) and services (DNS, DHCP). Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies. Experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory/Entra. Familiarity with security tools and best practices.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in a system or network administration role. Education:
