Outside Sales: Business Development Executive
to identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. This role requires managing the full sales cycle-including lead generation, sales presentations, negotiations, and closing deals-while attending industry events, networking, and prospecting to expand the company's customer base.

ue: Health, Dental, Vision, Short/Long Term Disability Benefits Free $15,000 Life Insurance Policy on Day One 401k with Company Match Paid-Time Off and Paid Holidays Company Clothing Store with Free Bi-Annual Credits Employee Appreciation Events Duties / Responsibilities: Prospect and generate leads through research, cold calling, outreach, networking, and referrals Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand network and generate opportunities Respond to all inbound and outbound leads within 24 hours through calls, texts, and emails Deliver sales presentations, customized pitches, and product demonstrations to prospects Effectively address objections and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts using company guidelines Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and trade professionals Schedule and conduct face-to-face client visits to foster relationships and understand client needs Ensure smooth sales handoff to internal teams by providing accurate documentation and information Manage time and territory effectively to maximize sales opportunities across Ohio and surrounding areas Enter all sales activities, visits, and client communications into HubSpot CRM promptly Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry insights to identify opportunities and threats Collaborate with inside sales, marketing, product managers, and support staff for coordinated success Maintain ongoing product knowledge and participate in training to sharpen sales skills Provide post-sale support and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all client interactions Travel locally and regionally to meet clients, attend events, and grow the business Perform other duties as assigned Job Title a.k.a. Outside Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, Sales Representative - Stone & Countertops, Account Executive - Outside Sales Qualifications / Experience: 2-5 years of proven success in outside sales, business development, or account management-preferably in home solutions (stone, kitchen & bath, flooring, cabinetry, design/build, or related sectors) Demonstrated ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with residential and commercial clients Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences (homeowners, builders, designers, contractors) Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools Excellent time management, territory planning, and follow-up skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferences: Existing network of builders, remodelers, contractors, designers, or showrooms in the Ohio home solutions market Familiarity with stone fabrication, countertop sales, or luxury home products Track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas or revenue targets Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams Granite Works Stone Design is an equal opportunity employer.
