We provide timely, independent and impartial due process hearings and produce timely, legally correct decisions. Job Description And Duties
Assist with the creation of daily hearing day calendar report and review report for completion and missing cases to ensure all scheduled cases are reviewed and assigned to an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) prior to hearing day. Reviews complex cases to determine hearing readiness, determine any missing documents, pending action items, or information that needs to be communicated to the claimant. Contact claimants prior to hearing to confirm attendance at hearing, explain hearing process, process any action requests, and assist the claimant with exhibits. Communicate with claimants, Programs, Counties, Authorized Representatives prior to hearing to ensure receipt of statements of position and claimant submitted documents needed for hearing. Verify contact information and interpreter needs and update the case accordingly. Armenian speaking claimants and receive incoming Armenian telephone inquiries and translate into English for staff. Act as an Armenian liaison with various county represenWork as a team to provide hearing day support for judges conducting hearings. Analyze hearing day problems to determine proper resolution. Communicate with counties to ensure availability of hearing representatives, resolve issues in which hearing representatives or ALJs are double booked, contact claimants and apply regulatory requirements to enter non-appearances as appropriate, assist judges with accessing technical support when needed, and act as liaison between the assigned ALJs and the parties.

Describe how your education, work experience, training, and skills qualify you for this position as it applies to the duty statement. Describe in detail your experience interpreting and applying regulations, statutes, policies, and procedures. Please include a specific example of a work product you have produced.
