HotFoot Recruiters is actively hiring an experienced EHS Manager to lead all environmental, health, and safety operations at a high-purity chemical manufacturing facility in the Casa Grande area. This is a critical leadership role for a new U.S. site supporting the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on hazardous materials compliance, process safety, and building a world-class EHS program from the ground up.

Pay Range : 120K - 140K DOE
Responsibilities
Lead the EHS team with mentorship, coaching, and technical training to support independent, compliant operations. Develop and implement all site-wide EHS programs ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT Hazmat, and local/state regulations. Manage hazardous materials lifecycle (procurement through disposal) in compliance with RCRA, TSCA, CERCLA, and EPCRA. Drive full Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) compliance for highly hazardous chemicals, including HAZOP and PHA oversight. Own environmental permitting and regulatory compliance: air, wastewater, stormwater, and hazardous waste. Act as site liaison with regulatory agencies (EPA, ADEQ, OSHA, DHS, DOT) and lead all required reporting and documentation. Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Lead audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, maintenance, and HR to integrate safety into daily activities and new projects. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (Masters a plus). 7+ years of EHS experience in chemical manufacturing or a high-hazard industrial setting. 3+ years in a leadership or site-level EHS management role. Strong experience managing hazardous chemicals, industrial hygiene programs, and environmental permitting. Demonstrated success in developing new-site EHS programs and safety culture Required Certifications
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) OSHA 30 (General Industry) Highly Preferred
