Brooklyn Park, MN | Hybrid (on-site one day per week) Compensation:
$52.00-$86.00 per hour | W2 only, no C2C What you'll do as the Engineer:
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of highly scalable web applications and backend services supporting financial transactions Participate in team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning, to align on priorities and deliverables Own feature development end-to-end-from testing through production deployment-ensuring high-quality, supportable code Partner across teams to modernize legacy applications while maintaining strict financial controls Support and enhance existing integrations to stabilize production and maintain reliable financial reporting What you'll bring to the Engineer role:
Proficiency in Java and backend development, with experience building scalable, testable applications Hands-on knowledge of Kafka for data streaming and Postgres for database solutions; Cassandra experience is a plus Familiarity with front-end development using React Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot, Kotlin, or Groovy Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical best practices and business needs A collaborative, proactive mindset and eagerness to take ownership of features and deliver results
