Contract Duration:
8 months Worksite Location : Wayzata, MN | Hybrid Compensation : $60.00 - $70.00 per hour What you'll do as an ABAP Engineer:
Design and deliver ABAP integrations to support BTP and Microsoft platforms, including Azure and Power Platform Provide technical leadership and drive architectural design, strategies, and plans for ongoing enterprise initiatives Configure, optimize, and maintain enterprise infrastructure to align with organizational standards and performance goals Conduct capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and ensure adherence to business continuity, backup, and archiving best practices Research and recommend innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency Promote shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs, improve information flow, and maintain alignment with IT and business strategies Ensure projects adhere to enterprise standards, avoiding duplication of infrastructure or divergence from established roadmaps Support configuration and delivery within designated SAP modules and functional areas
What you'll bring to the ABAP Engineer role:
Proven experience designing and implementing ABAP integrations across SAP, BTP, and Microsoft platforms Strong technical leadership skills with a track record of delivering scalable architectural solutions Hands-on expertise in enterprise infrastructure configuration, optimization, and maintenance Knowledge of business continuity, high availability, backup, recovery, and archiving practices Experience in capacity and disaster recovery planning and design Ability to identify opportunities for operational optimization and recommend effective changes Proficiency configuring SAP modules relevant to project scope Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills to support cross-functional success
