EHS Leads
in
Frederick, Maryland
to drive essential safety initiatives on major
data-centre construction
projects. This is a
general contractor role on a 12-month contract , offering the chance to make a real impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. As an EHS Lead at ASafe Global, you will take ownership of developing and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring strict compliance with local and international standards, and promoting a culture of safety excellence across all sites.
Per diem
will be provided for candidates required to travel for work and who are not local to the area, in accordance with the
applicable GSA rate .

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across construction projects.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations, as well as company and client standards.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Provide guidance, training, and coaching to project teams to strengthen safety culture and awareness.
Track, analyse, and report on EHS performance metrics (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS matters with project stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Lead incident investigations and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into project planning and execution.
Key Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in EHS, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong background in construction, data centres, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and other applicable U.S. EHS laws.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA 30, CSP, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Note:
We are offering $50–$65 per hour, based on experience, plus per diem for this role.
