Overview
AWS is looking for a Senior Consultant specializing in Marketing Technology and Customer Experience Transformation to join our dynamic Technology & Industry team. This pivotal role is designed to assist enterprise clients in envisioning and executing comprehensive Customer 360 initiatives, MarTech advancements, Adtech integration, and customer experience enhancements. As a Marketing Technology Specialist, you will engage with executive teams to fully leverage the expansive AWS Services, partner solutions, and AI/ML capabilities, enabling them to revolutionize their customer engagement strategies and boost marketing performance across various touchpoints.
Your responsibilities will include working directly with Fortune 500 companies and strategic partners to tackle challenges related to marketing technology modernization, unifying customer data, omni-channel activation, and implementing AI-driven personalization at scale. You'll lead clients in transforming their MarTech ecosystems through cloud-native architectures and advanced data strategies.
This role presents an opportunity to become well-versed in innovative AWS AI/ML solutions while serving as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders. You will develop and disseminate best practices and reusable assets in collaboration with leading MarTech ISVs to expedite client transitions to cloud-based marketing solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead intricate Composable Customer 360 and MarTech transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 enterprises.
Architect and design comprehensive Customer Experience Platforms, including customer data platforms (CDPs), identity resolution frameworks, and AI-driven personalization and recommendation systems.
Create marketing data foundations using modern data principles to construct marketing lakehouses and composable architectures.
Design and implement content supply chain solutions, cross-platform activation strategies, and omnichannel customer journey orchestration.
Business Development & Pre-Sales
Collaborate with AWS sales teams to develop strategic account plans and identify MarTech transformation opportunities.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, workshops, and solution demonstrations tailored for C-suite stakeholders.
Draft compelling project proposals, solution architectures, and statements of work that meet customer needs.
Establish trustworthy relationships with CMOs, CDOs, and marketing technology leaders within strategic accounts.
Industry Ecosystem Development
Forge strategic partnerships throughout the MarTech ecosystem, including Salesforce, Adobe, Treasure Data, Tealium, and emerging CDP platforms.
Work alongside AWS product teams to deliver capabilities tailored to the industry and further AWS's vision for MarTech solutions.
Collaborate with Amazon Advertising, Amazon DSP, and other Amazon divisions to create integrated customer solutions.
Assist in the development of sales plays and solutions to empower field teams, solution architects, and customer success managers.
Thought Leadership & Market Development
Create thought leadership content showcasing the business impacts of AI-driven customer experience transformations.
Present industry-leading insights at MarTech conferences and executive forums, enhancing AWS's market visibility.
Work alongside partner and alliance teams to enable MarTech-focused system integrators and technology partners.
Engage with AWS engineering teams to relay customer requirements and influence the development of MarTech product roadmaps.

Key focus areas include Cloud Strategy and Business Value Alignment, Cloud Operating Models & Governance, Cloud Migration Readiness and Planning, Organizational Change & Enablement, and Data & AI Transformation.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in delivering marketing technology transformations, specifically focusing on Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and customer experience solutions.
5+ years of experience in implementing cloud architectures.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with at least three MarTech platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Treasure Data, or Tealium AudienceStream.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS martech-related services is advantageous, including AWS Entity Resolution, AWS Clean Rooms, Amazon Personalize, and Amazon Connect Customer Profiles.
Background in agency settings such as Publicis, Accenture Interactive, or Deloitte Digital, or experience in MarTech ISV vendor professional services.
Possession of AWS certifications like Solutions Architect, AI Practitioner, or Data Analytics specialty.
Excellent communication skills with the capacity to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The compensation reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in the lowest geographic market to $239,000/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by numerous factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position will remain open until filled.
