36 hours guaranteed (biweekly 72 hours) Estimated Weekly Salary Range:
$1780 - $1910 Shift Duration:
Flexible shifts (6, 8, 10, or 12 hours); shifts may start as early as 5:00 AM and end as late as 7:30 PM Weekend/Holiday Rotation:
Every other weekend and holiday Float Requirements:
Float between inpatient and outpatient dialysis units On Call:
2x weekly as needed, including every other weekend; 1-hour response time Block Scheduling:
Available Dialysis RN Qualifications
Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Minimum 2 years of dialysis RN experience in an inpatient healthcare setting Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Peritoneal Dialysis required Trauma Level II hospital experience highly preferred Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience preferred Dialysis RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality dialysis care to both inpatient and outpatient patients Perform RN and Patient Care Technician (PCT) duties as needed Manage patient ratios: Inpatient 1:4 with dialysis technician, 1:1 in ICU; Outpatient 1:8 Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled Float between inpatient and outpatient dialysis units based on facility needs Respond to on-call assignments within a 1-hour timeframe Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EHR (preferred) Comply with all clinical, safety, and infection control protocols
