The College of Coastal Georgia seeks qualified applicants for the part time applicant pool in the area of Cyber Defense. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the School of Business and Public Management. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach Cyber Defense courses contingent to the needs of the College. Essential duties include: maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, and submission of final grades and attendance reports. Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Masters degree with minimum of eighteen semester hours at the graduate level in cyber security, information technology, computer science, or in related fields. Other Required Qualifications Current CompTIA Security+ certification Must hold one or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CASP, CySA, CEH, or others Must be able to compete/assist and train students for CTF or cyber competitions Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science Doctoral degree Demonstrated evidence of recent, successful post-secondary teaching experience Online teaching experience Contact Information
