ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Global Security Program Analyst is a key member of Global Security (GS) who gathers and evaluates security-related concepts and information to safeguard TelevisaUnivisions personnel, processes, and operations. The GS Program Analyst provides operational support for security efforts across TelevisaUnivisions business and corporate functions. The GS Program Analyst will assist in developing and implementing a global security strategy designed to provide a high level of security to the Companys personnel and assets in a rapidly changing business, technological, and safety environment. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Chief Global Security Officer as well as support other members of Global Security. This position will help support Global Security programs, operations, and initiatives across TelevisaUnivision (TU), including the coordination with other departments and programs. YOUR DAY-DAY:
This position performs duties focused on the collection, analysis, evaluation, interpretation, and dissemination of information identifying threats and areas of concern impacting Company personnel, facilities or operations. Key elements of the duties performed by this position include: Data Gathering: Gather all source information emanating from internal TU sources and documents; external open sources; law enforcement information and threat reporting; industry analyses; and other available information sources. Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify historical trends and patterns across the Company to assist in identifying potential risks, vulnerabilities, or other areas of concern. Data analysis encompasses both qualitative and quantitative data to further GS programs. Internal and External Resources: Apply internal and external resources and leveraging analytical tools necessary to identify emerging trends and threats to employees and business activities. Threat Assessments & Intelligence Alerts: Research, draft and generate threat assessments on country-specific areas and politically sensitive zones which may impact personnel, productions or operations, under the guidance of Global Security leadership. Information is cultivated from all sources, both internal and external. Social Media Data Mining: Maintain working knowledge of current cyber threats and areas of concern, including techniques, tactics, and protocols, as well as a deep understanding of threats posed by social media. Cyber Threat & Incident Response: Support GS investigations and inquiries in collaboration with IT Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, HR, and key stakeholders to identify cyber-based threats or concerns. Internal Investigations: Support Global Security leadership in investigating and reviewing potential security threats and allegations of significant employee misconduct or unlawful activity in collaboration with Compliance, HR and other key stakeholders; produce investigative reports capturing findings and leads in a case. Physical & Personnel Security: Draft physical security plans to ensure protection of employees, staff, assets and infrastructure, including the allocation and deployment of contract security personnel based on business needs and operational risk.
Risk Mitigation & Continuity: Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard TU personnel and operations, and support efforts to maintain continuity of operations in the event of a crisis. Protection responsibilities may include evaluation of access control systems, video surveillance, and other components of an electronic surveillance system. Occupational Health & Safety: Assess potential physical and health safety risks and implement protective measures to reduce risk of injury, illness, or accidental trauma at company facilities. Employ protective protocols to prevent and control potential exposures or harms from pandemics, infectious diseases, or other natural or man-made bio threats. Production & Operational Support: Support special events, productions, and other operational processes.
Collaborate with TU departments on all aspects of planning and execution of GS Security initiatives, logistics and production support, assessing security risks and mitigation strategies; travel to events when required; assist with talent escorts and conduct after-action analyses to identify gaps and lessons learned for future events. Incumbent evaluates and identifies safety, environmental concerns, or risks to production areas and related operational areas that can impact employee safety and implement safeguards. You have:
Bachelors Degree or Graduate degree in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, or Natural Sciences, preference for Political Science, Criminology, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Security Management, Business, Finance, or related field with emphasis on data analytics or trend analysis. Excellent analytical skills experience identifying trends utilizing qualitative and quantitative information. Excellent writing skills experience drafting documents / policies / executive summaries or reports. Excellent briefing skills experience with drafting and delivering briefs to stakeholders and entities in the private and public sectors at various management levels. Minimum 5 years experience and knowledge of security protocols. Minimum 5 years experience conducting investigations in law enforcement or corporate security. Minimum 5 years experience conducting personal, physical security and/or developing security plans to ensure the protection of personnel and operations. Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Creative thinker and problem-solver who anticipates challenges and proactively engineers effective solutions based on facts, data, detailed research and best practices/industry standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and timelines with urgency and ownership, meeting deadlines on time. Self-directed with excellent organizational skills. Fully fluent in English; bilingual Spanish speaking and writing ability preferred.
Eligibility requirements
Position is office-centric, on-site in Miami, FL. Must be willing to travel up to 25%, with on-call responsibilities and willingness and ability to travel on short notice in support of operations; available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Employment and education will be verified.
Physical requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to eight (8) hours.
