Summary

The ASC Manager will lead the development, launch, and ongoing operations of two mobile ambulatory surgery center units for Hoskinson Health and Wellness Clinic. This senior leadership role requires a proven track record in ASC management, combining clinical, operational, financial, and regulatory oversight with strategic vision. The successful candidate will set up systems, build teams, ensure excellent patient care, and drive performance in quality, safety, and profitability. Supervisory Role

Directly supervises all staff associated with the mobile ASCs, including clinical (e.g., nursing, surgical techs,. etc.) and administrative personnel. Oversees physician and anesthesia provider relationships. Works closely with senior leadership (COO, Medical Director) and external stakeholders (surgeons, accrediting bodies, vendors). Duties & Responsibilities

Operational & Strategic Leadership Develop and implement policies, standard operating procedures, clinical workflows. Plan and manage case scheduling, patient flow, surgical turnover, and mobile unit logistics. Monitor key metrics (e.g. case volume, utilization, wait times, efficiency) and drive continuous improvement. Build and manage annual budgets. Oversee revenue cycle (billing, coding, reimbursement). Manage supply chain, inventory, and cost controls. Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to ensure profitability. Staff Management & Development Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff. Set performance expectations; conduct regular performance reviews. Foster a positive, collaborative environment focused on accountability, retention, and professional growth. Physician & Patient Relations Act as primary liaison for surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other clinical partners. Ensure patient satisfaction and safety from pre-operative through recovery. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and accreditation requirements (e.g. AAHC, The Joint Commission or similar). Lead quality assurance, performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Maintain safety culture, incident reporting, risk management. Education / Certifications / Licenses

Bachelor's degree required (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field). Masters degree (e.g. MHA, MBA) strongly preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license strongly preferred. Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) credential required, or must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Current BLS / ACLS certification. Experience

Minimum 7-10 years progressive leadership in ambulatory surgery center operations. Demonstrated track record of improving profitability, efficiency, and staff retention. Prior experience with mobile / non-traditional ASC settings is a plus. Experience with physician and anesthesiologist relations, regulatory compliance, budgeting and P&L oversight. Skills & Abilities

Deep knowledge of ASC financial & operational management (revenue cycle, budgeting, P&L). Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills. Excellent communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving, analytic skills. Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced, potentially ambiguous launching environments. High level of integrity, attention to detail, patient safety oriented.
