Claims Specialist
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Specialist to manage vehicle damage claims and subrogation processes. This role is critical to ensure timely recovery of costs associated with vehicle damage, third-party liability, and insurance coordination. This position is 100% onsite in downtown Tulsa and will pay $21/hr. This is direct hire, permanent placement. Parking is paid for.
Responsibilities:
Investigate vehicle damage claims, including customer-reported incidents and third-party liability. Review rental agreements, damage reports, and supporting documentation to determine claim validity. Initiate and manage subrogation efforts against liable third parties and insurance carriers. Coordinate with legal teams and external adjusters to pursue recovery of damages. Maintain accurate records of claims, recovery efforts, and settlement outcomes. Communicate with customers, insurers, and internal departments to resolve claims efficiently. Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding recoveries. Analyze trends in damage claims and provide recommendations to reduce future losses. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications:
Prior experience in claims handling, subrogation, or insurance recovery (automotive or rental industry preferred). Strong background in customer service and troubleshooting Strong understanding of subrogation principles and damage recovery processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines. High attention to detail and analytical thinking. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred.
