Full Stack Engineer
to help design, build, and scale our cloud-based systems (primarily on AWS). You will collaborate with senior engineers on technical decisions, contribute to architecture and security best practices, and own meaningful projects that impact thousands of restaurants and trades businesses across North America. You will develop tools and applications that connect restaurants and businesses to a trusted network of vendors, delivering features end-to-end from database design to front-end user experience. Our stack includes Django/Python on the backend, with S3, Postgres, Redis, and CloudFront, and React/React Native/TypeScript on the frontend. We practice automated testing and continuous deployment. What you will do
Build and maintain scalable systems using AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, etc.) Contribute to system design and collaborate on technical decisions with senior engineers Participate in project planning, providing input on timelines and trade-offs Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues Help design and implement AI-powered features and agents using large language models (LLMs) Work closely with product and customer teams to deliver AI-driven solutions that improve the customer experience Apply prompt engineering and experiment with emerging tools to speed up development and unlock new capabilities Who you are
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience 34 years in software engineering (web and/or mobile focus) Solid understanding of AWS services (compute, storage, networking, databases, security) Familiarity with cloud architecture concepts, serverless, and containers Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and ideally Kubernetes or Terraform Strong knowledge of databases and data modeling Experience building APIs (GraphQL or REST) Proficient in Python, TypeScript, React, and React Native Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally Customer-focused and eager to build products that raise the bar on user experience Nice to Haves
Curiosity about AI tools that make developers more efficient Experience working with or creating AI-powered agents Awareness of the latest trends in AI, especially multimodal LLMs, agentic systems, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and AI-driven search About the interview and workplace
