About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled
API Inspection Planner
with current API 510 and API 570 certifications to join our dynamic team. This hybrid position requires a detail-oriented planner to develop and execute comprehensive inspection job plans that drive successful maintenance and inspection projects. You will play a critical role in outage planning, contractor coordination, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

What You'll Do:
Lead planning and execution of assigned outage scopes, ensuring all work is clearly defined and fully executable
Develop detailed work order scopes, identifying necessary support disciplines
Build comprehensive job planning packages including safety matrices, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, and procedures
Provide daily updates and field management support during outages
Manage contractor oversight-safety compliance, timesheets, QC verification, and change orders
Support Change Management processes with timely documentation and follow-up
Promote and uphold rigorous housekeeping and safety standards on all job sites
Complete project close-out documentation according to company standards
What You Bring:
Certifications:
Current API 510 and API 570 required
Experience:
10+ years in maintenance/engineering, with 5+ years in mechanical planning
Proficient reading and interpreting P&IDs, ISO drawings, piping isometrics, and equipment design packages
Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), SAP, Primavera P6
Knowledge of ASME codes B31.1, B31.3, Sec. I, and Sec. VIII
Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and performing site visits as needed
Safety-focused mindset-never compromising on established safety processes

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong commitment to quality and safety
Flexibility to travel 25-40% based on project needs
Willingness to work varied schedules and occasional overtime while adhering to fatigue management
PPE Requirements:
Hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, and flame-resistant clothing (FRC)
