Work independently with minimal supervision Brief status reports to the Leadership Team Prepare detailed reports for presentation Understand and manage the technologies of the assigned systems Support Missile Defense Agency initiatives as part of the Strategic Defense & International Operations Team (SD&I Operations) Qualifications
15+ years of Information Technology/Cybersecurity experience with a minimum of 5 years in the DoD Minimum of 5 years of System Administration and configuration experience in the enterprise with one or more of the following technologies Windows 7 - 10 including DoD Secure Host Baseline Cisco switches and routers Boundary defenses DoD 8570 IAM - III Certification An active DoD SECRET level security clearance (or have held one in the past 2 years) Strong skills with Tenable Nessus/ACAS: vulnerability analysis, managing scan data in Security Center, and providing reports to system owners, program managers, and ISSMs to track vulnerability metrics Uploading scan data to eMASS to populate the asset management component Knowledge of Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) LAN/WAN design and security Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity and RMF policy and procedures (DoD 8500, DoD 8510, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53) RMF implementation guidance and applying technical expertise to continuous monitoring controls Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences and to leadership at all levels, including SES/General Officers Employment Type
