Facility Maintenance Technician
Irving, TX 75063 $22 per hour | Contract-to-Permanent
About the Role
We’re hiring a
Facility Maintenance Technician
to support day-to-day operations and upkeep of a large warehouse environment. This role is hands-on and diverse, covering everything from basic repairs to preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
What You’ll Do
Perform general
building maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping .
Complete warehouse improvements including
painting, drywall, moving furniture, and relocating signs .
Handle
basic plumbing and electrical tasks
as needed.
Install and hang TVs, relocate small fans, re-beam racks, and assist with loading materials onto trailers.
Perform
physical inspections and preventative maintenance
on warehouse equipment (picking carts, cardboard compactor, bailer, battery changer, shredder).
Support miscellaneous facility repairs and routine maintenance projects as assigned.
What You Bring
Hands-on experience with
general building maintenance .
Basic skills in
plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry .
Ability to perform physical labor and use warehouse tools and equipment safely.
Dependable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
