SUMMARY OF JOB

As an

Engineer I , you'll provide technical support on the production floor and gain hands-on experience in aerospace plating operations. This is an entry-level engineering role designed to develop into a long-term career path in process and quality engineering.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support production teams with technical troubleshooting and operator training Assist with test runs, first articles, and process documentation updates Analyze rejects, conduct time studies, and recommend improvements Lead and document corrective actions using structured problem-solving tools Develop test plans, experiments, and data collection methods to refine processes Train operators in both line and classroom settings Contribute to new part process planning and ensure compliance with customer requirements Perform other duties as assigned (include this in all descriptions) EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

Associate's degree in a technical field (Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Materials Science, etc.) Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Clear communicator with the ability to make sound decisions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to dangerous chemicals, including exposure to fumes or airborne particles below OSHA permissible limits. Frequently exposed to high heat and humid conditions. Employee will be frequently exposed to loud sounds, below the OSHA permissible limits.
