We are searching for an experienced Production Scheduler Planner for the Jonesboro, AR area. A production scheduler planner creates and manages manufacturing schedules, coordinating materials, labor, and equipment to ensure efficient production flow and timely product delivery. Key responsibilities include developing daily/weekly schedules, analyzing capacity and lead times, tracking inventory levels, resolving production issues, and collaborating with purchasing, production, and other teams. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for balancing demand, resources, and constraints to meet production targets and customer needs. Core Responsibilities: Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to maximize efficiency and throughput. Resource Coordination: Plan the allocation of materials, machines, and manpower to meet schedule requirements. Capacity Analysis: Analyze production specifications and plant capacity to determine resource needs and optimize workflow. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure sufficient supply and prevent shortages or excesses. Problem-Solving: Address production challenges, unforeseen issues, and changes in material or machine availability by re-sequencing schedules and reallocating resources. Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, purchasing, supply chain management, sales, and leadership to align schedules with overall goals and customer demand. Reporting: Provide status updates and reports on existing orders, production forecasts, challenges, and performance.
