The Principal Trainer is the content expert responsible for mastering Epic applications and Piedmont-specific workflows. They develop and lead training programs, including materials and methods such as classroom, web-based learning, remote instruction, and coaching. They ensure training meets initial and ongoing needs, support usability programs, and participate in go-live events. They also build, test, and maintain training environments, participate in workflow design, and establish relationships with stakeholders. Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and materials for Epic applications. Coordinate with other trainers and stakeholders to ensure training effectiveness. Participate in workflow design and system build to gain in-depth system knowledge. Support the training environment setup and maintenance. Provide on-site and remote user support during go-lives and beyond. Ensure training content quality and stay current with best practices. Manage training policies, scheduling, and certification processes. Oversee training facility management and technical infrastructure. Establish and maintain relationships with Piedmont staff, physicians, and users. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, or 4 years relevant experience. Minimum of 3 years experience in software training, support, or project management, or 7 years if no degree. Epic certification within 90 days of employment. Ability to travel overnight for training and support. Additional Information
