Infrastructure Architect As an Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, roadmap, and management of (Client's) infrastructure services. You will work with a team including Infrastructure Engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction. You will collaborate with internal partners and teams to ensure infrastructure solutions align with business needs and organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include the roadmap, design, and operation of the overall infrastructure services that support the organizations operations including the colocated Equinix data centers. You will: Lead and mentor a team of Intermediate and Senior Infrastructure Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain the infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and emerging technologies. Oversee the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of infrastructure services, including data centers, cloud platforms, virtualization, storage systems, and automation tools. Provide architectural leadership for the design and operation of colocation Equinix data centers, including capacity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and service continuity plans. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet application and business requirements. Drive the adoption of cloud technologies, such as Azure and AVS, and lead the integration of hybrid cloud solutions into the infrastructure strategy. Oversee the automation of infrastructure processes using tools like Ansible and Terraform, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort. Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, and disaster recovery policies. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities and support business growth. Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders across the organization. Develop and maintain documentation, including roadmaps, design documents, operational guides, and runbooks, to ensure clarity and consistency across the team.
