Warehouse/Inventory Specialist
The Warehouse/Inventory Specialist is responsible for leading independent support function(s) including transportation and supplies for the Judicial Branch. We recognize your time is valuable, so please apply if you meet the following required qualifications: High School diploma or GED One (1) year of general materials handling experience OR Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona Driver's license at the time of hire. The selected applicant will need to provide a certified copy of their driving record from MVD for the past three (3) years for which the offer of employment will be dependent on a clean driving record. Knowledge of: Methods used in requisitioning and maintaining inventory of supplies and materials Using basic tools, equipment, and supplies Facility maintenance principles Transport logistics and scheduling Skill in: Communicating effectively both oral and written Ability to: Foster effective working relationships with staff Complete and maintain paperwork, records, reports, accounts, etc. Essential Job Tasks
Orders, procures, receives, inspects, distributes, inventories, and maintains supplies, equipment, and property. Determines and maintains appropriate stock levels. Transports supplies, materials and equipment to various locations throughout the County. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Performs basic labor, maintenance, minor repair on equipment (furniture and facilities). Moves and assembles office furniture and equipment. Runs print shop, printing all forms, envelopes and other special print jobs. Fills supply and order requests for routine and non-routine items. Investigate and resolve routine delivery and return issues, including shipment discrepancies, delays, and missing packages. Communicate with vendors, drivers, customers, and internal teams to gather necessary information for a successful delivery. Researches and makes recommendations and decisions for a variety of supply and equipment purchases, including overseas items. Handles hazardous materials and must know SDS information. Inspects, and signs-off on work performed by contracted vendors and services. Makes facility and equipment arrangements for events. Makes special transportation, shipping, handling, and mail arrangements. Working Conditions: Work occurs indoors and outdoors in an active warehouse environment. Position requires the capability of lifting 35 lbs. and moving up to 500 lbs. of supplies, with the assistance of equipment and may require frequent pushing/pulling a distance of 150 feet. May occasionally work in extreme heat.
