We are seeking a dedicated Junior Supervisor for our Press Department. In this role, youll work closely with the supervisor, stepping up to lead the team when they are out. This position is a direct path to a full-time supervisory role, perfect for someone with proven skills and a desire to grow. Youll work a reliable four-day week, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime opportunities available based on customer demand.
Junior Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the department supervisor with daily operations and team management.
Assume all supervisory duties and responsibilities in the supervisors absence.
Operate CNC machines, including Lasers, Punch Presses, Turrets, and Panel Benders.
Produce a variety of sheet metal products and components.
Utilize Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) to run machinery.
Use a variety of measuring tools to ensure product quality and accuracy.
Junior Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements
A minimum of two years of experience operating CNC Lasers, Punch Presses, Turrets, and Panel Benders.
Proven ability to operate and interpret results from measuring tools.
Possess a solid work history demonstrating reliability and dedication.
Ability to work the scheduled hours and optional overtime as needed.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Pay is negotiable and will be based on your experience.
