Human Resources Manager
to serve as a key business partner to plant leadership. This is a high-visibility role where you'll drive HR strategy, champion employee engagement, and shape a positive workplace culture. Position Overview
The
HR Manager
will serve as a strategic advisor to the Plant Manager and leadership team, overseeing all aspects of human resources at the manufacturing facility. From employee relations and recruitment to compliance and culture-building, this role is central to the plant's success. Key Responsibilities Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with operational goals.
Lead employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management.
Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Champion a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive DEI initiatives, retention strategies, and employee recognition programs.
Conduct investigations and support corrective action processes.
Oversee HR communications and employee events.
Identify training needs and deliver impactful learning experiences.
Monitor local market trends to inform competitive pay strategies.
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Prepare HR reports and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar fast-paced environments preferred.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel a must).
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.

Travel:
Minimal overnight travel required
