Job Description:
Handle quality-related matters for products imported into the US and those sourced from US factories and suppliers. Utilize Quality Assurance practices to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Conduct initial failure analysis and assist in establishing root causes of problems. Prepare and verify 8D Problem Solving initiatives. Manage return goods authorization and returned parts. Responsible for stopping production and/or deliveries of non-conformed products. Analyze customer and defect data. Provide data-driven quality improvement insights. Interface with Customer Service and customers on quality issues. Manage customer portals and scorecards. Salary: $120,370.00 per year
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience in quality function.
Alternatively, the employer will accept an Associates degree and 5 years of related work experience in quality function.
Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
FMEA;
SAP;
Six Sigma methodologies;
Root cause investigative tools such as 5 Why or Fishbone;
Data analysis and reporting including statistical data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action reports, dashboard creation, compliance and audit reports; and
Developing and tracking vendor performance metrics, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
ISO 9001:2008 and IATF16949; and
Global 8D.
