About the Float Pool
If you enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment, the
Float Pool
is perfect for you! You’ll develop top-notch clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills while working alongside compassionate, dedicated professionals. Float Pool RNs rotate across the following units: Emergency Department
ICU
Cardiac Telemetry
Medical-Surgical - (Adults)
Medical-Surgical - (Adults & Peds) Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Licensure:
Active RN license in Missouri or compact license (must meet state board requirements)
Experience:
1+ year RN experience preferred
Certifications: BLS
(Basic Life Support) – Required within 30 days of hire
Depending on assignment, may also require: ACLS
(Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS
(Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Physical Requirements: Able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout shifts
