About Our Unit
Welcome to our
high-energy, fast-paced 30-bed Medical/Surgical Unit , serving both adult and occasional pediatric patients. While our primary focus is on adults aged 18 and older, we also provide care for approximately
1–2 pediatric patients per month . Our diverse patient population includes a broad range of
medical and post-operative cases , such as: Orthopedic procedures:
knees, hips, shoulders
General surgeries:
appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resections
Specialized care:
bariatric surgery, sepsis, pancreatitis, and stable pneumothorax
We maintain a
nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 , supported by highly skilled
Patient Care Associates
to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery. What truly sets us apart is our

Qualifications
Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited RN program
Active
RN license
(state-specific or compact)
Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
Certifications Required: ACLS
– Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS
– Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)
Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)
Physical Requirements: Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
Prolonged standing/walking throughout shift
Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed
