Azure Solutions Architect Managed Services Provider - Irvine, CA Were seeking an Azure Solutions Architect with strong MSP experience to join a fast-growing Cloud Managed Services & Security Provider. This is a unique opportunity to join a stable and expanding team that is investing heavily in its people, technology, and long-term growth. As an Azure Solutions Architect, youll focus on designing modern cloud solutions, leading client workshops, and creating migration roadmaps. This role is primarily architecture and solution design, but youll also step in to provide senior-level technical support and escalation when needed. To succeed, you must have prior MSP experience, a strong Azure background, and the ability to communicate complex solutions to both technical and business stakeholders. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr What Youll Do
Lead client discovery sessions and translate business needs into scalable Azure architectures. Design Azure migration roadmaps, build cost models with the Azure Pricing Calculator, and recommend right-sized solutions (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/DRaaS). Develop architecture diagrams, runbooks, and documentation to ensure seamless project handoff. Partner with SysAdmins, Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver successful outcomes. Provide Tier-3/architectural escalation support when projects slow or critical issues arise. Implement security patterns, deploy EDR solutions, and harden client cloud environments. Proven experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) required. Hands-on expertise in Azure cloud architecture, migrations, and cost modeling. Strong knowledge of security practices, automation, and multi-tier environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present solutions to executives and clients.
