We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused MSP System Administrator to join our mission-driven team and support our growing Managed Security Service Provider initiative. In this role, youll be hands-on with proactive maintenance, deployments, and troubleshooting across a diverse client base, including organizations in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) working toward CMMC compliance. $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Responsibilities Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Exchange environments, including accounts, permissions, and integrations. Configure, deploy, and support Windows and macOS workstations, servers, and mobile devices. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and VPNs across client environments. Perform patch management, system updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure system stability and security. Monitor server and network health using RMM tools; troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 infrastructure issues. Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and account setup. Document technical processes, changes, and resolutions in the PSA/ticketing system. Collaborate with senior engineers on projects, migrations, and security initiatives.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in an MSP or multi-client IT environment. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and core networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN). Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya). Solid knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
