Job Responsibilities
Job Summary Provides HR leadership and development of HR strategies and initiatives across a large business group. Ensures business goals/HR strategies are aligned and drives implementation across business lines. Provides coaching and support to drive high performance. Executes human capital strategies around organizational design, talent management and culture. This role delivers talent strategies to enable the business for Syneos Health. The HRBP works with business leaders to ensure HR strategies support business goals. For assigned business units, the Director, Business HR (HRBP) coaches leaders to drive high performance, identifies organization design needs, partners with Centers of Excellence, advocates for employees, drives global engagement, and supports the implementation of global HR strategies and the HR tiered service model. The Director, Business HR partners with Regional HR teams, HR Centers of Excellence, and Functional leaders (Legal, Finance, BT, Corporate Communications) to ensure needs are understood and addressed across geographies and functions. Responsible for managing HR activities including global employee engagement initiatives, change management, compensation and benefits, performance management, and talent review and succession planning.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives; manage day-to-day HRBP responsibilities. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention and employee experience; support leaders and employees on all people-related strategies in assigned teams. Drive initiatives in global organization design, diversity, leadership development, and scaling annual talent management processes. Collaborate with Division/Business line HR leaders to: Develop and implement approaches to support business unit growth by evaluating trends and identifying strategies. Own global engagement and drive culture and engagement initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert on HR requirements; be a liaison between management and Corporate HR. Partner with Regional HR to implement company-wide projects and change management; work with Global Talent & Development and Global Compensation and Benefits on programs for the unit. Oversee HR projects/interventions to improve productivity, engagement and retention; analyze HR metrics and adjust strategies with BU leadership. Ensure cascade of Corporate/Division messages to reinforce performance and culture; collaborate with Executive Recruitment on executive selections.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree; graduate degree and/or HR certification preferred. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate problem-solving skills; strong collaboration and influence without authority. Experience in a globally matrixed environment is preferred. Desirable competencies: Business Acumen, Talent Management, Organization Acumen, Data Judgment, Leveraging Networks, Leadership, Innovation, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, Proactivity, Continuous Learning, Matrix Management.

Benefits and Salary
Benefits may include a company car or car allowance, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, eligibility for Employee Stock Purchase Plan, potential for commissions/bonus, and flexible PTO and sick time. Salary Range: $118,700.00 - $207,800.00. The base range represents anticipated low/high; actual salary varies by qualifications, skills, and proficiency.
