We are seeking a Protective Operations Specialist to join our team embedded with our client in Washington, D.C. This position requires onsite work with our client in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. This is a full-time role with 12-hour shifts; weekday, weekend, evening, and night shift work may be required. Domestic and international travel will be necessary. Job Description

Manage protective operations in the DMV area focused on delivering exceptional security services to principals and guests. Implement internal programs to increase efficiency and deliver results. Coordinate and deploy protective resources to safeguard principals. Train local security resources to augment operational requirements due to higher risk or increased operation volume. Work directly with principals, guests, internal and external stakeholders, and key partners to deliver best-in-class security services. Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, attention to detail, and a process-oriented approach are essential. Responsibilities

Provide in-person management of DMV-based security operations or protective details Conduct local driving assignments as needed Provide Executive Protection support to the client Provide limited-duration augmentation to domestic or global operations in support of client travel Develop and maintain strong relationships with the estate team, local law enforcement, other security details, and venue staff Lead key internal team and organizational initiatives Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, processes, and escalation protocols for protective operations Maintain excellent rapport and open lines of communication regarding Principal needs and deliverables Ensure assigned deliverables are met across the full suite of security services Proactively communicate risks to personnel, property, or reputation Identify gaps in processes and resources and develop methodologies to address them as part of the larger security strategy Oversee quality control and training for employees, embedded staff, and contracted security assets Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience At least 8 years of government experience providing protective security services Experience as a member of a protection detail Experience developing and delivering protective protocols at the organizational level Experience working with contract staff to provide comprehensive protective services Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver protective services Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to transfer knowledge and inspire a growth mindset Ability to legally carry a concealed weapon in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia Preferred Qualifications

Experience with high-net-worth family or corporate protective details Experience in corporate security, military, or law enforcement Experience in Government Personal Security Details Advanced medical training (TECC, TCCC, EMT, Paramedic) Experience working in overseas environments Possess LEOSA (H.R. 218) Compensation & Benefits
