Patient Care Coordinator , you will collaborate with a team of medical professionals in a welcoming office setting. Location : 3632 N. Morrison Rd. Muncie, IN Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST Primary Responsibilities: Welcome patients upon arrival and manage their wait times effectively Assist with patient intake procedures, including document copying Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles while issuing receipts Manage the cashier box and execute daily deposits as per company policies Facilitate services for walk-in patients and visitors Answer phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently Maintain and manage medical records, ensuring timely filing and scanning Process correspondence and medical record requests while maintaining appropriate logs Perform other related duties as assigned Why Choose UnitedHealth Group?

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years in a medical front office role with responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and medical records management Familiarity with medical insurance Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with EMR software Knowledge of medical terminology Salary will be determined based on various factors including location, education, experience, and certifications. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $27.69.
