Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, and provide exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they aim to surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment that keeps customers coming back. For our Seasonal Ambassadors, it’s about making a positive impact on the world, one bar at a time! Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Experience:

Driving Sales: Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals. Take ownership of your results and actively work to grow your contribution to the store’s overall sales. Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world-class customer experience to every customer. Connect with customers and identify their needs by listening attentively and asking open-ended questions. Demonstrate product benefits and features and seek opportunities to make customers’ day. Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging. Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement to help bring in more traffic. Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge with ongoing learning to stay up-to-date on products, ingredients, and benefits for informed recommendations.

Team Involvement:

Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance, support team growth, and increase sales. Seek feedback and opportunities to improve your skills. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication, listen to teammates’ perspectives, and promote belonging through teamwork and collaboration.

Operational Excellence:

Time and Attendance: Be punctual and reliable, participate in teamwork, take breaks as needed, and stay updated with company news. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Use Visual Merchandising guidelines to adjust product displays based on sales. Policies and Procedures: Follow opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required: Excellent customer service skills Flexibility to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: Experience with consultation-based customer service Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations Experience working in a team environment Experience in skincare or cosmetics Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Salary : $15.50 USD per hour (Annapolis) Equal Opportunity
