Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Procurement Associate to support the purchasing operations within our technology division. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow by assisting in the procurement of materials, software, and services, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual eager to develop their procurement career in a dynamic and fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist buyers in the procurement of various materials, components, software, and services. Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders efficiently. Maintain and update procurement records and databases. Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies and receiving issues. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Must-Have Skills:
Experience with indirect purchase order (PO) processing Ability to provide status updates on POs to requestors Familiarity with escalating to VRA (Vendor Risk Assessment) and issuing tickets to Legal Comfort coordinating with Legal on the business side only (Legal handles the heavy lifting on contracts) High attention to detail and accuracy
