Overview

The Leasing Consultant (REF10524R) role at FPI Management is the community's sales representative and is responsible for interacting with residents (potential and existing) to assist with viewing/touring the property, providing accurate information about each apartment home, processing rental applications, securing lease agreements from qualified persons, and assisting with lease renewals as required. The Leasing Consultant conducts all duties in accordance with Fair Housing Laws and Company policy and supports the overall objective of meeting the Client's expectations based on the financial operating budget and management agreement. Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily operations to ensure FPI meets Client objectives and expectations. Communication: Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests while representing FPI. Leasing/Occupancy:

Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations Exhibit professional leasing techniques Assist with monthly Market Surveys and analysis Assist with advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community as needed Exhibit closing ratios for phone and walk-in traffic per FPI policy Ensure online marketing sources are updated daily Promote positive resident/management relations and prioritize customer need requests Assist with resident retention programs Ensure safety, comfort, and privacy of residents Ensure move-in orientation is completed consistently with new residents Reporting and Document Management: maintain resident files and documents per FPI SOPs; ensure confidentiality Risk Management: comply with SOPs; report injuries/ property damage promptly; respond calmly in emergencies Facility Maintenance: assist residents with maintenance reports; monitor the asset and ensure timely completion; follow up on requests Other: enforce community rules and procedures; comply with Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies; maintain professional appearance and conduct; meet training requirements; perform other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in Residential Property Management. Hospitality, retail, sales, or customer service experience will be considered. High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, internet, social media).
