As a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and implementing solutions that drive project success. You will supervise key workstreams and engage with clients on a daily basis, ensuring the effective execution of consulting initiatives. Your responsibilities will also involve leading operational meetings with client sponsors and internal executives, preparing insightful reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences. Mentorship and coaching of junior consultants will be a critical aspect of your role, guaranteeing that deliverables meet the highest standard of quality. As you refine your project management expertise and leadership capabilities, you can aspire to advance to the Managing Consultant level. Key Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience in the banking sector or commercial financial services consulting. At least 3 years of expertise in one or more of the following areas: Operational risk and/or compliance within large banks Banking regulations and compliance Conducting risk and controls assessments (including process mapping) Bachelor's degree required. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where priorities may shift rapidly. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, adjusting messages for diverse audiences. Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Creative problem-solver with a collaborative approach to consulting. Commitment to delivering high-quality outputs. Experience in leading client service teams to produce top-quality work. Strong client relationship management skills. Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated success in handling time-sensitive projects. Highly motivated with a dynamic work attitude. A positive, persuasive demeanor with a knack for leading by example. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in management consulting. Relevant certifications such as CPA, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP. Advanced degree (MBA or MA/MS) in a related field. The annual salary for this role ranges from $98,000 to $163,000, based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and other qualifications.
