As a Data Scientist, you will lead projects leveraging data science techniques to mine and interpret data, solving strategic, tactical, structured, and unstructured business problems. You will interpret and communicate analytic results to both analytical and non-analytical business partners and senior managers. These applications aim to organize information, engage and guide clients, deliver personalized investment content and products, predict clients next best actions, and determine optimal targeting strategies.

MS in (PhD preferred) Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field with at least 2 years of experience.
Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to enable pattern recognition and analysis.
Proficiency in translating unstructured business problems into mathematical frameworks and articulating the logic scientifically.
Experience with deep learning models, generative AI, and optimization algorithms.
Expertise in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and data mining algorithms.
Experience analyzing behavioral data of financial advisors and investors, market news, and economic data to personalize investment outcomes.
Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool.
Knowledge of distributed databases and experience with SQL or related query languages.
Demonstrated ability to derive value from data science on large, complex datasets.
Experience with tools such as Databricks and AWS Sagemaker.
Ability to provide data analysis and visualization solutions using tools like Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Plotly Dash, Streamlit, Power BI.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $121,652 - $194,643 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, eligible employees can receive an annual performance bonus, Capitals annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with a 15% contribution of eligible earnings.
