IT Support Specialist , reporting to the
Manager, IT , to provide day-to-day technical support to Vasts internal employees and ensure systems run smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, delivering timely and efficient solutions. Your troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer-service skills will be key to your success. This is a

Responsibilities: Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited information Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end users satisfaction Maintain and support enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones and other network-enabled devices Monitor, respond to and resolve incidents in an ITSM system while ensuring SLA performance metrics (e.g., Jira Service Management, Zendesk) Strong troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 and MacOS Some understanding of Active Directory or LDAP Comfortable replacing hard drives, memory and other computer components Onboarding/offboarding users Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required Provide support for multiple locations Installing and moving equipment up to 50 lbs Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in IT Proven experience with ITSM tools Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and standards regarding IT and data Pay Range: IT Support Specialist I: $24.52 - $35.10 IT Support Specialist II: $27.88 - $39.90 Salary Range: California $24.52 - $39.90 USD Compensation and Benefits Base salary will vary based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is one component of our compensation package.
