Compensation Senior Specialist

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote) Pay Rate:
$35/hour
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic
Compensation Specialist
to join our HR team on a short-term assignment. The role will focus on implementing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent, while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies, policies, and programs.
Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using salary surveys and internal data.
Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers.
Lead annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonus planning, and salary structure reviews.
Ensure compliance with applicable compensation-related laws and regulations.
Prepare and present compensation reports and insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders.
Contribute to compensation-related projects such as job architecture, pay equity analysis, and incentive plan design.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (CCP certification preferred).
5–10 years of experience in compensation or total rewards, with strong expertise in compensation administration and analytics.
Project management experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with compensation tools and HRIS systems.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
