Overview
The Financial Banking IT Staffing Recruiter manages the full recruitment life cycle for IT positions for financial services customers. Responsibilities include understanding and qualifying job requirements, sourcing and engaging qualified technology candidates through industry channels, and collaborating with hiring managers. Responsibilities
Technical Talent Partnership: Work closely with MSP, hiring managers to understand specific skill sets required for IT technology financial services roles. Specialized IT Sourcing: Leverage IT job boards, professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub), and industry events to attract candidates for IT Roles Screening and Interviewing: Assess candidates for technical proficiency. Candidate Relationship Management: Build a pipeline of both passive and active IT talent, maintaining communication and nurturing long-term relationships to support project-based and permanent staffing needs. Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in human resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Certifications in technical recruiting or HR (e.g., AIRS, SHRM-CP) are a plus. Experience: Proven background in IT recruitment, within financial services. Experience with IT and hard-to-fill roles. Strong expertise with end-to-end recruiting life cycle especially in IT Staffing roles. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of financial IT environments, contemporary and legacy technologies, and the unique challenges of digital banking and fintech adoption. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical concepts and engage both IT professionals and business stakeholders. Relationship Management: Expertise in building IT talent pipelines and cultivating lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Multi-tasking & Organization: Ability to manage multiple technical searches and hiring timelines in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Analytical Skills: Skill in technical assessment, interpreting IT market intelligence, and using data to inform recruitment strategy. Technological Fluency: Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and platforms relevant to IT and technology recruitment. Ethics & Confidentiality: Strong sense of discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information and data-driven hiring practices. Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, with a potential earning opportunity of up to 150K. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the role offered, commission, bonus, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package. Benefits
