What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including gathering marketing materials and preparing submissions.
Collaborate and negotiate with carriers on quotes while organizing data into a marketing analysis format.
Provide broker partners with recommendations driven by RFP analysis.
Ensure timely entry and storage of client data in appropriate systems.
Develop effective relationships with broker partners and carrier contacts.
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree and internship experience OR high school diploma with at least 4 years of direct group benefits experience.
1–2 years of experience in employee benefits administration or related industry.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with ancillary benefit plan designs, contracts, and current industry trends.
Comfortable learning and using new technologies and systems.
Diligent follow-up skills and effective decision-making abilities.
