Business Development Leader

for our ForBuild business unit, delivering specialty construction solutions. This leader will elevate danckers market position by expanding beyond modular construction to a broader spectrum of architectural and interior solutions. The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with architects, owners, general contractors, and other industry professionals to drive long-term business growth. You will identify and pursue opportunities in modular/prefabricated construction, casework, acoustical solutions, interior glazing, architectural specialties, and more. Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth : Drive ForBuild's growth by identifying new opportunities across the construction spectrum including modular/prefabricated construction, casework, acoustical solutions, interior glazing, architectural specialties, and more. Client Relationships : Leverage and expand your network of architects, developers, general contractors, and other key stakeholders to generate project leads and cultivate long-term client partnerships. Sales Leadership : Act as a solutions-oriented sales leader, guiding clients through danckers full range of services (specialty construction, furniture, A/V technology, logistics, lab solutions, and more). Demonstrate expertise in matching customer needs with construction-focused solutions. Pipeline Development : Build and manage a multi-million-dollar pipeline of high-quality project opportunities aligned with ForBuilds strategic goals. Innovative Solutions : Promote danckers value as an integrator by focusing on construction innovation and architectural products. Market Insight : Stay informed on trends and opportunities in the NJ and NY construction and real estate markets, positioning ForBuild to seize new opportunities. Thought Leadership : Maintain active memberships in relevant professional organizations and attend industry events to keep ForBuild at the forefront of market discussions and developments. Education & Experience

Education or training in Construction Management, Architecture/Design, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or related fields, with a strong focus on the NJ/NY market. Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining high-level client relationships and delivering business growth. Qualifications

Industry Expertise : Strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry, including modular/prefabricated products, architectural elements, interior and tenant fit out. Sales & Solutions Mindset : Proven ability to identify customer needs and present comprehensive solutions that address both immediate and long-term project goals. Collaborative Focus : Experience working across departments and fostering a collaborative, unified approach to project development. High-Level Communication : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence decision-makers.
