Overview

Specialist, Newbuild, Revitalization Operations and Activity Development on-site at Royal Caribbean Headquarters, Miami 1050. This position is for the Entertainment Department and reports to the Senior Manager Entertainment Operations. The role focuses on creating, developing, establishing and implementing customized and innovative experiences for front of house Entertainment with new builds, revitalizations, and the current fleet. The incumbent will assist with ensuring Guest Activities and Entertainment are represented and will participate in new building programs and revitalizations. Additional responsibilities include sourcing new vendors, managing Activities owner supply budgets, action logs, schedules, presentations, and timelines. Develop SQM, SOP, Production Manuals and intranet documentation for training and support for all current and future start-up programming. The primary focus is on new build and revitalization projects, with support for current operations when time allows. Responsibilities

Oversees vendor/contractor berthing and travel to support the operational start-up of all future newbuilds and revitalizations. Assist in analyzing par implications, guest throughput and potential revenue to create recommendations for the operation as it pertains to Guest Activities and Entertainment experiences. Assist in forecasting the shipboard budget for all future newbuilds and revitalizations to ensure shipboard teams can manage expenses once operational. Assist and support IT operational support with Pre Cruise Planner (PCP), Hybris, Entertainment Management System (EMS), E-Waivers, DataPlay, Electronic Compass creation, Fleet Visitor Requests (FVRs), Extra Crew Cabin Requests (ECCRs) and related systems for newbuilds and revitalizations. Research, prepare and present operational efficiencies and cost containment measures for newbuild and revitalization. Assist in developing and establishing Royal Way Standards, SQM, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation for all new concepts related to new build Start Up and Operations. Own and coordinate schedules, white papers, presentations, action plans and supporting documentation for development and newbuild and revitalizations operations. Partner with New Build Supply Chain and Hotel Purchasing to source new vendors for equipment and supplies related to new experiences; set up operational purchasing for ship-to-order on a regular basis. Own the development and management of Newbuild and Revite presentation decks, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with department goals for internal and external meetings. Assist in coordinating travel logistics for the Entertainment team in collaboration with international Newbuild and Revite shipyards, ensuring smooth planning and alignment with project timelines. Maintain detailed budget tracking for Newbuild and Revite projects, ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with departmental financial goals. Performs other duties as required. College degree in recreation, entertainment, travel and leisure or hospitality or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years related experience within the cruise line, leisure and/or entertainment industry. Working knowledge of Windows PCs; proficiency in Lotus Notes, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; independent decision-making; excellent collaboration and teamwork. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate in a multicultural environment. Detail oriented; problem solving and analytical skills; experience in managing and prioritizing expense budgets. Knowledge of current entertainment, recreation and leisure trends within cruising and related experiences. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Strong public relations and speaking skills; travel required. Financial/Quantitative Responsibilities

Lead the Owners Supply allocation for all newbuilds and revites of approximately $6.2M in start-up expenses for Guest Activities and Entertainment. Assist in forecasting shipboard operational budgets and in producing revenue-driving experiences. Working Conditions
