We’re seeking a Brand Manager to lead our Emerging Brands portfolio within the Away From Home (AFH) business unit. The Brand Manager, Emerging Brands will be responsible for unlocking growth for high-potential Kraft Heinz brands in the AFH space. The role covers total portfolio management, leadership of key commercialization projects, ownership of strategic sales-driving marketing campaigns, insights analysis, and driving the overarching brand strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Brand Activations & Partnerships, R&D, Operations, and Platform marketing to achieve brand goals. This position offers high visibility and an opportunity to shape the future of our next-generation portfolio. Responsibilities
Business Execution & Portfolio Management: analyze brand performance data (e.g., equity, share, volume, revenue, and competitive trends) to drive strategic decisions; lead monthly brand performance reviews with action plans to grow market share and brand equity; manage portfolio through SKU optimization, pack/price architecture, product catalog updates, and prioritization of core vs. emerging SKUs; conduct strategic brand audits to determine when a brand should become an emerging brand within the AFH portfolio. Strategic Initiatives: partner with insights, finance, and sales to develop business cases for brand reclassification and allocate resources to brands with high AFH growth potential; own annual operating plan deliverables and support forecasting accuracy with demand planning. Innovation & Long-Term Strategy: develop a 1-3 year growth roadmap, guide product innovation and prioritize sales opportunities; collaborate with retail platform, Innovation, Insights and R&D to ensure alignment with growth strategy; lead commercialization of renovations and maintenance projects; leverage consumer insights to inform pipelines and planning. Brand Communications & Go-To-Market: lead development and execution of B2B campaigns for the AFH channel; integrate emergent brand strategy with Masterbrand B2C where relevant; develop compelling brand narratives and partnerships to drive engagement and new business; collaborate with customer marketing and sales to ensure consistent brand positioning across touchpoints. Cross-Functional Leadership: act as central hub for brand activity, lead cross-functional workstreams, prepare presentations for executive leadership, and translate brand objectives into action plans across functions. Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in Brand Management or Marketing, preferably within startup or established CPG. Strong analytical mindset; ability to distill complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations. Deep understanding of brand building, positioning, and go-to-market strategies in a CPG context. Proven cross-functional project leadership and ability to influence across levels and teams. Experience managing external agencies and vendors; skilled in creative development and campaign execution. Strong storytelling and communication skills for varied audiences including senior leadership. Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with bias for action in ambiguous environments. Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities. Proficient in Nielsen/IRI, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet). New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by plan terms and governing documents. The compensation offered will consider internal equity and may vary by geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
