Our client is a well-known food manufacturer with plants in NY and NJ. Due to growth, seeking a
Warehouse Manager
to lead and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storage, inventory management, shipping, dispatch, and transportation scheduling — with a strong focus on food safety, team leadership, and operational efficiency. Primary duties include:
Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, storage (cold and frozen), inventory control, shipping, and dispatch of raw and finished goods.
Manage and schedule transport drivers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Maintain accurate documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Uphold GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards while fostering a strong food safety culture.
Monitor KPIs, implement process improvements, and ensure warehouse goals are met in collaboration with leadership.
Position reports to Warehouse Director.
Ideal candidates for
Warehouse Manager
will possess the following:
Associates degree. Will consider military veterans.
5+ years of experience in warehouse management within the food manufacturing industry
Understanding for Food Safety, FDA, OSHA, and GMP
Proficient with WMS and Excel
Salary up to $120,000/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA, etc.
Pay Details:
$85,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
