Job Summary: This Store Manager position is salaried and provides daily leadership to all store positions, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and the Assistant Store Manager. The role reports to the District Manager and focuses on day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development of store teammates to promote Monro’s vision and service standards.
Responsibilities
Develop sales and technical teammates to deliver a consistent 5-star guest experience.
Achieve sales goals through development and implementation of sales plans and strong product/service knowledge.
Introduce tire and service products to guests to maximize sales and loyalty.
Train and develop teammates in shop operations and guest services to maintain a productive sales environment.
Provide direction and oversight to technicians; assist with services/repairs as needed.
Ensure store staffing through recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and performance management.
Control expenses through payroll, utilities, maintenance, supplies, and other controllable costs.
Manage inventory, including pulling tires/parts and stocking inventory.
Audit courtesy inspections and maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition.
Schedule guest appointments and assign work based on skill levels for efficiency.
Inform and recommend tire and service products and promotions to meet sales goals.
Address guest needs in sales, service, complaints, and adjustments; build guest relationships for satisfaction and retention.
Convey repair and service needs to guests; adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety guidelines.
Maintain technical knowledge through Monro University training and safe operation of equipment.
Operate and maintain equipment (lifts, welders, brake lathes) safely per guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Effective communication with teammates and guests.
Complete all Monro required training within guidelines and timelines.
Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather conditions, chemicals, and dust.
Flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, walking, and overhead/below-knee movements.
