Inventory Control Manager
to lead our end-to-end inventory operations—covering raw materials, WIP, and finished goods—in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports production flow, and drives efficiency through collaboration with internal teams and third-party warehouses to meet customer delivery expectations. Responsibilities
Develop and implement robust inventory management strategies and procedures (receiving, storage, lot traceability, tracking, and fulfillment). Partner with production planners to ensure materials are available for scheduled runs, reducing downtime and shortages. Own and manage inventory control KPIs—optimizing stock levels, reducing waste, and driving efficiency. Lead cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation efforts across internal and external warehouses. Monitor scrap, expired, and obsolete inventory; coordinate proper reporting and disposition. Champion lean inventory management practices, 5S, and continuous improvement. Build cross-functional expertise, acting as a key partner to production, procurement, and quality teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. 5+ years’ experience in warehouse management and logistics within manufacturing. Strong knowledge of production workflows, planning, and MRP. Proven leadership in lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma. Experience managing third-party logistics and external warehouses. Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
