Overview Global Law Firm Opening for a Senior Biller!

Responsibilities

Reviewing and finalizing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring invoices are submitted in formats that meet client-specific and legal requirements.

Oversee all billing and collections arrangements and manage ongoing reporting to offer insights into matter management and profitability.

Preparing accurate monthly billing and collections forecasts.

Managing client trust accounts, on-account billing, payment applications, and resolving unapplied funds.

Implementing the terms of engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines for all matters.

Creating and maintaining backup support processes to ensure consistent portfolio coverage.

Working with attorneys to develop strategic collection plans and providing recommendations.

Identifying process improvements and implementing actionable changes within the Accounting Department.

Contributing to departmental projects, sharing best practices, and developing efficiencies across processes.

You will be expected to apply your expertise in billing and collections while providing support to management and continuously striving to innovate within your function.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in billing, collections, or account management.

Proven experience with complex accounting analysis.

Background in a law firm or professional services environment, ideally with international exposure.

Strong business acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.

Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose effective solutions.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Strong client service orientation and a collaborative team player.

Capable of conveying ideas and information clearly and concisely.

Skilled in time management and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, dependable, and responsive to evolving business needs.
