Hale Kipa
Overview
The Program Manager plays a key leadership role in guiding the Outreach team to effectively engage with youth and young adults within the community environment. This individual is responsible for building strong relationships with vulnerable youth and young adults, many of whom may be involved in at-risk behaviors. The Program Manager ensures that the team provides a safe, welcoming space where youth and young adults can find respite and support for a few hours. Additionally, the Program Manager collaborates closely with relevant case contacts, social institutions, community organizations, and local resources, ensuring that the individuals they serve have access to the comprehensive services they need. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential to fostering trust, building partnerships, and connecting youth to pathways for stability and growth.
Responsibilities
Engage with youth and young adults in the community to provide safe, welcoming spaces and support services for short-term respite.
Build and maintain relationships with case contacts, social institutions, community organizations, and local resources to connect individuals with comprehensive services.
Lead and supervise the Outreach team to ensure effective engagement and service delivery.
Qualifications
A Master\'s degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred
At least one year of experience working with youth/young adults is essential
Requirements
Street outreach and supervisory experience preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems.
Consistent and timely documentation.
A valid driver\'s license.
Current auto insurance & safety check required.
Access to a vehicle for the purpose of transporting young adults.
