Hale Kipa provides opportunities and environments that strengthen and encourage youth, their families and communities to actualize their potential and social responsibility. Since 1970, Hale Kipa has championed Hawai‘i’s youth and children. We provide youth outreach, independent living facilities, therapeutic foster care, a haven for runaways, and more. Our founders recognized a need for a nonprofit to step in to assist this deserving population and we are still doing that critical work today, on O’ahu, Kaua‘i, and the Island of Hawai‘i. Role Overview
Join our team at Hale Kipa as a full‑time Guide on the Side Case Manager in a program dedicated to serving young adults facing homelessness. Your role will involve identifying eligible participants, securing housing, and providing case management services. You will also be responsible for teaching independent living and social skills, assisting with employment, vocational, and educational resources, and offering any other necessary services to support these young adults in successfully integrating into the community. This position is part of a team‑oriented approach, where collaboration and cooperation are key to achieving our mission. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, or a similar discipline. At least one year of experience working with youth/young adults is preferred. Requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems. Consistent and timely documentation. A valid driver’s license. Current auto insurance & safety check required. Access to a vehicle for the purpose of transporting young adults. Benefits
